Back To The Battlefield.

Hey there Soldiers of Fortune! I have been MIA for a while and my absence is nothing more than being busy. Yes Busy not from sitting on my arse playing Battlefield Bad Company 2 as you have probably thought but other stuff like work and family and more ways to keep you guys hooked on the Battlefield.



My last post was basically going over the New or Next Instalment of the Battlefield Saga which still doesn't have a Release Date at the moment apart from when the snow starts falling or when Santa's on his way to getting stuck in your chimney.
Apparently its expected to be released in November
Hopefully the creators at EA HQ will sort this out asap as I know that myself and others are a bit frustrated and excited at the same time.



Whilst I have been away I have been gathering secret Intel. With this Intel I will be compiling and releasing this Information as an e book which covers all of the Weapons and Specialisations for Battlefield. Also as a bonus for you budding Soldiers are some tips and Strategies for your game play whether it is is using the Best Weapon for your Soldier Class or A full undisclosed walk through for the Game story line.



I will keep all you Guys posted on how the e book is developing and when it will be ready for releasing to the Masses.

Vehicles For Combat In Vietnam

With the up and coming release of Battlefield Bad Company Vietnam there are a lot of surprises in store for its loyal fans and potential new followers.
Obviously you will be expecting more weapons for your soldier classes as well as the modifications available when you've clocked up some game time. The new scenarios I have already covered and there's the vehicles that you can now take control to give you and your Squad the Potential edge over your Enemy.
I will be going over the new Vehicles at my pleasure

There are 4 new Tanks:
 M551 Sheridan
M48 Patton
 PT-76
 T-54


There are also 3 new Helicopters:
 ah-1 cobra
 Huey
 Mil Mi-8


There are 3 new Aircraft:
 F-4 Phantom II
 MiG-17
 MiG-21


There is also something new to use to combat the Fighter Planes on the above listing.
This Bad Boy is A Self Propelled Anti Aircraft Gun:
 ZSU-57-2


And last but certainly not least is this Awesome Weapon what every Soldier would be envious if they couldn't have one at their disposal. Yes everyone feast your eyes on this....

I know that you may think this is a bit of a Wind Up and at first I thought the same but seriously it is on the new Battlefield Bad Company Vietnam. We will just have to wait and see what we can do with this Bad Boy.

Battlefield New Release

Well as all you Battlefield lovers know there is a new instalment called Battlefield Vietnam out on your consoles In the Winter so probably a release ready for the Christmas Rush.

In the new game there are 14 maps which is cool as we all like more of a choice and variety.This also improves on the Original Battlefield Model in a large amount regarding  game play content and obviously Squad Warfare on Player co-op.

The New Maps are:

 Hue 1968  Reclaiming Hue
 Operation Flaming Dart
 La Drang Valley
 Landing Zone Albany
 Operation Hastings
 Operation Irving  Quang Tri 1968
 Quang Tri 1972  Fall of Lang Vei
 Operation Game Warden
 Ho Chi Minh Trail
 Khe Sahn 
 Cambodian Incursion.


It will be interesting and exciting to see how the battle is played out over these terrains. This will be at the forefront of Warfare on the consoles and Pc for a good while. I can't wait to see when the Rivalry hots up with Call Of Duty Black Ops being released on November 09 2010 and the time will tick to when The battle commences between these 2 Kings of Warfare

More Battlefield Bad Company 2 Info Phase 2

Battlefield Bad Company 2 has officially exceeded 5 million units sold world wide. Thanks to everyone who has supported Battlefield and bought a copy and hope you will support the up and coming new Release
Battlefield Bad Company 2 Vietnam!

The game will be an expansion to Bad Company 2 that will include four new maps, Vietnam specific weapons, new vehicles, unlockables, and achievements.


4 new maps
15 new weapons
6 new vehicles
New soundtrack with 29, 1960s tracks
10 achievements and trophies
The expansion pack will be released this winter on all platforms, but EA has yet to announce a price. Expect somewhere between £20 and £30 depending on specific retailers.




Have you played Battlefield Bad Company 2 Onslaught yet?

Onslaught has brought co-op gameplay to Battlefield for the first time on console.
The Onslaught mode puts you and up to three friends in a Squad against the enemy on
Valparaiso, Atacama Desert, Isla Inocentes and Nelson Bay.

Nelson Bay has been redesigned with new lighting effects, time of day which helps
or in some cases hinders you in battle.
There's now added vehicles so you can overwhelm the enemy with more ease.

Each map has its own effect on how the game is played out, this means that depending
on you and whoever is on your Squad it will determine how you complete your
Objectives against the Onslaught of your enemy.

You will experience Vehicle Warfare at its best in Atacama Desert. While playing
Nelson Bay the main gameplay features are masses upon masses of Infantry Ground Assault.
Players can compete in Squads aswell as to check individual progress on the dedicated
Onslaught Leader boards.

Taking It To The Enemy

Just to let you know that so far what i have blogged about is not the finished article. There are more scenarios to play and much more weapons and specializations to achieve along with your Soldier Ranking.Obviously the more time you give to playing the game the better Upgrades for your Soldier Classes you can achieve.

My Favourite choice of weapon for the Assault class:
The M16A2 has a Good Firing Rate and Damage Effectiveness even at Medium Range.


My Favourite choice of weapons for the Engineer class:
The XM8 Compact is the Best Light Machine Gun available to the Engineer
The M2 Carl Gustav AT is excellent for taking out Vehicles and also Buildings


My Favourite choice of weapon for the Medic class:
The MG3 has a Fast Firing Rate for Chasing off would
be Enemies whilst you Revive Fallen Comrades


My Favourite choice of weapon for the Recon class:
The M24 Sniper Rifle is slow for Reloading but when you aim
for the Target it doesn't get back up



These weapons are my personal favourites but everyone has their own preferences and customisation too.Different scenarios and maybe even who you have available in your squad on the Battlefield may also determine which Weapons you choose to Fight the enemy.

When you choose to play on Xbox live you can choose from Different locations to do Battle. If you haven't already downloaded any content like the Map packs you have 4 maps to choose from at first.
Here's a a short summary of the Maps and features
They are...

1. ARICA HARBOR.

Do battle in a Desert setting on the streets of an uninhabited town.
This is my Personal Favourite battle scenario especially when you
Bring buildings down on your enemy.
There is a Tank (T-90) available to Destroy and take Buildings down with ease.

2. ISLA INNOCENTES.

Here you can take control of a Sea Assault either in a War Boat or Ski Boat.
Land on the Beach to get up Close and Personal with the enemy or
Sniper the enemy from afar.
If you have the Skill take control of the Helicopter (Mil Mi-24 Hind)
and make the enemy pay.

3. LAGUNA PRESA.

This is Jungle Warfare at its best.
Hide and surprise the enemy killing them in a hail of bullets.
There's a Tank (BMD-3Bakhcha) available on here.
I use it more for crossing the water to carry my Squad into Battle..

4. WHITE PASS.

This is Personally a Harder Scenario for battle as a lot of the enemies blend in
with the surroundings unless they have been highlighted in Red on the Mini Map.
There's a Tank (M3A3 Bradley) and I use this to Blow the enemies away that
hide out in the top levels of Buildings and Hilltops.

As you get more playing time on the game you will get Better Weapons 
and specialisation upgrades for your weapons too. This will help you in your
fight against the enemy and increase you Soldier ranking.
